Restylane®
Restylane® is a safe and natural cosmetic dermal filler that restores volume and fullness to the skin to correct moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds. It is a satisfying lip filler, bringing “new life” to small, narrow lips. Restylane was the first filler of its kind in the U.S. market and has achieved much success. Restylane® is made of non-animal based hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is a natural substance that already exists in the human body and is used to provide volume and fullness to the skin. Unlike rooster-derived hyaluronic acid-based products, Restylane is free from animal proteins. This quality limits any risk of animal-based disease transmission or allergic reaction.
Restylane® requires no pre-testing and the effects generally last for about six months. Restylane is injected directly into the skin in tiny amounts by an ultrafine needle, resulting in minimal discomfort. The procedure is simple and convenient, and the results are practically instantaneous.

In January I will have been a patient of Dr. Zwickey for 6 years. I have repeatedly had issues with dysplasia (precancerous tissue). His incredible diagnostic and surgical skill has meant that he removes just enough of the abnormal tissue to have a clean border without removing too much healthy tissue. This is confirmed by biopsy. When appropriate he has used other interventions like laser. Right now I have no cancer and no loss of function. It is difficult to express just how grateful I am for that. The other staff I have dealt with have been great. They are friendly, reassuring and sincerely caring as well as good at their jobs. For my last several biopsies Dr. Zwickey’s assistant has been Skylar. I am always glad to see her when I come in. She is a sweet wonderful person and I know I’m in good hands.

I highly recommend Dr. Mark Zwickey and his staff. I had two procedures done. One on October 12th for a Wisdom tooth extraction and the other on October 24th for a different tooth extraction.
